Visit www.havasupaireservations.com to purchase your permits on the opening date.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be initiated by sending a request to [email protected] at least 90 days before the first day of your permit start date to receive a 50% refund of the permit fee (excludes early access fee). Any refund will be returned to the credit card on file that was used to make the original purchase.
Cancellations made within 90 days of the first day of your permit start date are not eligible for a refund. In those situations, the purchase price is non-refundable. However, we still kindly ask that you cancel your reservation online through your tourist account so that we may have notice that you will not be checking in for your reservation.
If you have more than one permit needing to be cancelled, each must be done individually in order to receive the partial refund.
Potential Alternative Trip Leader
The Havasupai Tribe strongly encourages the naming of a Potential Alternative Trip Leader (PATL) when making a reservation. PATLs can only be added at the time the reservation is made. Please note that the reservation holder IS NOT required to be there at check-in as long as one of the listed PATL checks in and presents proper identification.
Transfer/Resale Prohibition Policy
The Tribe strictly prohibits the resale or transfer of permits.

Congress Must Act to Save the Havasupai Tribe from Extinction
Written by Chairwoman Kissoon in an opinion piece for Newsweek:
"We have seen the irreparable damage uranium mining can do. For generations we have been at the forefront, working to permanently protect our homelands from uranium mining, which has disproportionately harmed and sickened Indigenous people across northern Arizona. The Senate has the power to protect not only our Grand Canyon home and our waters, but also the health and safety of our tribe and the people of the Southwest from the life-threatening effects of uranium mining. We urge the Senate to do the right thing and protect the Grand Canyon now and for future generations."
